I'm Leon the founder of Leon van Rooyen Garden Design. I am a very passionate plantsman and garden designer based in Central London.
I have a deep rooted love and passion for the outdoors and gardening which was instilled in me since I was a child. I draw a lot of inspiration from nature and places that I have visited, and where possible I try and incorporate this into my work.
I strive to create beautifully curated and thoughtful designs, by using a very delicate approach to the space I am working on. I enjoy building relationships and understanding exactly what my clients needs are, in order to deliver something that is truly unique.
About
Leon studied Garden Design at the prestigious Capel Manor.
He was born and raised in South Africa and moved to London after graduating from University, he currently lives in Southfields in SW London.
Growing up he was always surrounded by nature and the outdoors, as well as having parents and other family members that were very keen amateur gardeners. This has had a big influence on his love for gardening and encouraged him to turn one off his passions into a career.

The process will involve an initial meeting to establish all of the essential elements that will shape the creation of your perfect garden. During the meeting you will go through the entire process step by step so that you know exactly what to expect.
